Hilux Longfield 27-Spline 4340 Chromoly CV

With larger tires and more horsepower being used on the trails these days, upgrades to your axle are more critical than ever. In a Toyota, one of the common failures are the stock 27-spline birfields and axles. The solution to this problem is the Longfield 27 Spline 4340 Chromoly CV. These CVs will get you to wherever you need to go and give you confidence and peace of mind to run any trail.
NB: The 27 spline CV is approx. 41% stronger than stock CVs. For larger tyres and/or more power than standard use the 30 Spline Gun Drilled CVs
The Longfield birfields are made out of 100% chromoly and are precision polished to remove any imperfections that may cause stress risers. The Longfield birfield housing is made out of forged 4340 chromoly steel. The axle shafts are also made out of 4340 chromoly steel. The internals of our Longfield birfields are made out of vacuum arc remelted 4340 chromoly steel and then dual heat-treated for superior strength.
These parts are covered by a 12 month limited warranty. All parts used in a competitive racing environment are excluded from this warranty.
If you already have the full chromoly super set you won't need these, because the full super set won't need replacing. The only time you might want this CV is if you run inferior axles and CVs and one of the CVs has broken. Replacing just the CV may result in the axle breaking, which can be hard to remove once broken.
