Hilux Longfield 30-Spline 4340 Chromoly CV Super Set Gun Drilled

With larger tires and more horsepower being used on the trails these days, upgrades to your axle are more critical than ever. In a Toyota, one of the common failures are the stock 27-spline birfields and axles. The solution to this problem is the Longfield 30-Spline 4340 Chromoly Super Set. These birfields and axles will get you to wherever you need to go and give you confidence and peace of mind to run any trail.
The Longfield birfields are made out of 100% chromoly and are precision polished to remove any imperfections that may cause stress risers. The Longfield birfield housing is made out of forged 4340 chromoly steel. The axle shafts are also made out of 4340 chromoly steel. The internals of our Longfield birfields are made out of vacuum arc remelted 4340 chromoly steel and then dual heat-treated for superior strength.
The birfield has a M8 grease zerk at the end of the stub shaft and is gun drilled through the center of the birfield to allow for grease to pass through the zerk fitting and into the internals. This will save you precious time by eliminating the need to disassemble your axle just to service your birfields.
These parts are covered by a limited lifetime warranty. All parts used in a competitive racing environment are excluded from this warranty.
Once you upgrade your axles, the next weak link is your hub gears, so this includes Creeper Drive Flanges. This will give you the confidence that your front axle will stand up to any trail you wish to run. Trail Gear Chromoly Inner and Outer Hub Gears are an additional option.
The Longfield 30-spline Birfields allow up to 40 degrees of turning radius and have a consistant breaking point of 8900-9000 foot pounds of torque (all testing data is based on internal testing at TGI).
Axle lengths are approx 800mm and 395mm
