Landcruiser 1HD-T 80 Water to Air Intercooler Kit

Intercooler kit includes the water air intercooler, 380mm x 240mm front mount radiator, 5 meters of 16mm hose and 12 volt water pump flowing up to 20 litres per minute drawing up to 1.2 amps.
Increase economy and power of your 12 valve 80 series Land Cruiser with this simple bolt on top mount intercooler kit. The water to air design provides greater heat transfer than air to air and the front mount radiator can accommodate a fan for extended slow off road trips. During testing this intercooler has achieved the same results as that achieved by the 1HD-FT version, almost 100 degree decrease in post turbo exhaust temperatures cruising on the highway and up to 140 degree decrease in post turbo exhaust temperatures when towing or accelerating.

Have fitted one along with 3 inch exhaust. Turbo starts boosting earlier and provided transmission doesnt kick down it will hold top gear up local hills (Kilmog). Does not clear bonnet with out some minor adjustments. I have reduced the "Special" bolts to gain some clearance, But need to find some more as top of unit rubbing. Instructions are relativly clear, the fitting of Intercooler and exhaust took about 8 hours (Not a Mechanic)
