Replacement clutch.
Replaces OEM part 31230-60170.
The standard Terrain Tamer clutch kit has been designed as a replacement clutch that will withstand the extreme conditions found rough and outbackj terrain. The clutch kits are designed in Melbourne, Australia, and are manufactured in Japan to meet Terrain Tamer specifications.
The heavy duty clutch has 25% increase in clamp load, anodized cover assembly, extra strength damper springs, ultra-premium friction material and an anti-burst casting.
The Terrain Tamer fortified clutch is purposely designed for the extreme weight and engine capacity of armoured vehicles, with up to 80% increase in torque capacity, and utilising a unique ceramic/organic design. The clutch cover features higher clamp loads, increased longevity, anodized to maximise corrosion resistance, additional drive straps for strength (as required) and spheroidal graphite anti burst casting. The clutch disc is a organic/velvetouch ceramic combination, 3 stage damper design with increased facing burst strength, increased damper spring capacity and an increased friction material coefficient.
