Soft Shackles are designed to be a safe, light weight, easy to use alternative to conventional steel bow shackles.
The Fuse soft shackle is designed to be the weakest link in the Maxtrax recovery system and the expected point of failure.
The fuse shackle, made from Ultra-High-Molecular-Weight Polyethylene and Polyester (UHMWP) is designed to be at the fuse or weakest point of the Maxtrax recovery system components. The Maxtrax recovery system is comprised the Winching Ring, Core Soft Shackle, Soft Shackle Tow Hitch and Maxtrax Kinetic (Snatch) Ropes.
