Landcruiser 70 Series 2007 On V8 Diesel Modified 5th Gear Set

A commonly issue with the V8 70 Series Land Cruiser is the overly high revs when cruising on the open road. Typically at 100kph in fifth gear the engine is doing around 2400rpm resulting in excess noise, additional fuel consumption and reduced engine life.
Terrain Tamer have introduced a modified gear set featuring a fifth gear which is approx. 17% higher than OEM, a gear ratio of 0.736 instead of the OEM 0.881. The new gear set is a direct replacement for the OEM part. The resultant approx 2000rpm at 100kph improves engine life, increases fuel efficiency and reduces noise levels.
The new gear set is manufactured in Japan from 62-strength Rockwell hardened steel.
