Big tyres and/or low crawler gears can and does lead to broken rear axles. If you are looking to upgrade your drive train, check out these Longfield chromoly rear axle shafts.
Note: Due to the increased strength and toughness of the Longfield rear axles, we recommend reusing your stock wheel studs or purchasing new OEM wheel studs.
Note: Rear wheel bearing may need to be changed to standard Hilux bearing when fitting to 4 Runner or Surf.

1979 to 1985 are 671mm inside of flange to end of axle, approx 588mm circlip grove to end of axle.
1986 to 1995 are 706mm inside of flange to end of axle, approx 630mm circlip grove to end of axle.
1995 to 2004 are 732mm inside of flange to end of axle.
