Steering shaft extension is sometimes required when a body lift is installed.
Fits:
130 Surf and solid axle Hilux LN106 and similar.
Early Landcruisers.
Prado 90 and 185 Surf, steering box/rack side.
GQ/GU Patrol/Safari
Ford Ranger PJ/PK (some, please check steering shaft diameter).
Not long enough for 2015 on Hilux The male/female spline will be too short after the body lift to safely drive the vehicle.
Shaft extension adds approx 40mm to length.
The shaft is 36 spline with outside diameter of 17.25mm.
