4WDbits developed manual locking hubs for the Nissan Y60 Patrol and Safari.
Outer case is machined from billet 6061 T6 Aluminium.
Inner locating ring is machined from 4140 alloy steel.
Remaining internal parts are also steel.
These hubs are designed for the serious off roader. They have been tested with a 600Nm TD42 with front diff lock and 35 inch Simex. While nothing is unbreakable, the hubs showed no sign of wear during testing.
Hubs are supplied as a complete bolt on pair and include the locating ring that press fits into the wheel hub in the same manner as Nissan OEM manual hubs. The design is such that OEM Nissan hub internals can be used if desired. Force hub internals can also be used.
NB: OEM spacer ring inside wheel assembly is not required.
