The Lewis Winch can be used anywhere you can carry a chainsaw. With the chainsaw power head the Lewis Winch is truly a truly portable winch.
Designed as a a handy tool for just about any application you put it to, be that
winching small logs , hauling forestry cables, clearing land, gullies, and roads, retrieving livestock, 4WD recovery, moving fencing supplies to difficult to reach areas and the list goes on.
Pulling capacity depends entirely on the size of the powerhead, maximum single line pull is about 4000 lbs and will be reached with a 90cc powerhead. Pulls of up to 8,000lb can be achieved using a pulley block to create double purchase.
The Lewis Winch comes with just over 45 meters (150 feet) of 4.7mm (3/16 inch) aircraft cable as standard (also available with 1/8 inch x 250 ft) and all the adapters to fit your chain saw (powerhead) including the direct connections, short bar & cutterless chain. The saw attaches to your winch as easy as changing a bar.
The Lewis Winch has shown it’s ability and worth around the world for over 15 years.
