Cable Dampener

Manufactured for 4WDbits our cable damper is made from durable vinyl and measures 900mm x 500mm. Total weight is just over 1kg making it light enough to easily handle and heavy enough to meet winch challenge rules. The 4WDbits cable dampener includes velcro both vertically and horizontally to hold it together when needed most. The cable dampener can also be worn as a safety vest. The cable dampener is easily folded in any direction to reduce storage space.
The 4WDbits winch cable dampener fully meets Winch Challenge Competition Rules
Safety is important and we believe that all safety precautions should be taken while out treading lightly or playing hard. Should you have a winch rope failure the weight and shape of the cable damper will absorb much of the energy released during rope recoil.
