My Name is Keith Baigent, I am 32. With a partner and three kids at home, It has made this surf a two year project, each step slowly progressing as the money allowed.
85 Surf on 35 inch Creepy Crawlers. Its running a 2.8 litre 5M Supra motor.
Ford falcon rear springs, hilux rears up the front, rear discs fitted. LSD front and rear. Currently scrounging the required parts to convert to cross over steering. While the Surf provides awesome (well I think it is) flex with the current leaf spring set up, finding a good set of shocks to match the suspension is an ongoing chore. I have Holden commodore shocks in the front at the moment for the length but they aren't up to the treatment they are given off road.
I would love to try a real set of shocks in my truck, especially once we change the steering as I don't think the current shocks will handle the jandal.
I think my partner and kids would love the ride these shocks could provide more though.
