Bluetooth trailer electric brake controller.
Elecbrakes bluetooth electronic brake controller eliminates the need for modification to the tow vehicle. Designed and assembled in Australia, this simple-to-use brake controller can be fitted to any trailer. It is controlled through Bluetooth and can be synced to any Smartphone device.
​Elecbrakes employs a high-speed microprocessor and various sensors which continuously sample the operating parameters every millisecond. Bluetooth 4.0 communications and the hardware selections give a long range capability ensuring high connection reliability and no dropouts under typical operating conditions. This ensures the device can be mounted anywhere on the trailer's draw bar. The system will continue operating even if the bluetooth signal is interrupted or lost.
​The Elecbrakes app provides the user with the ability to monitor, configure programs and control brake response from the tow vehicle.
​Elecbrakes is normally powered via the tail lights, however a second prefered auxillary power input from the battery is also provided.
Brake unit works on 12 volt and 24 volt systems. Unit brake control output is 12 volt.

NB: The flat 7 pin plug also fits into the flat 12 pin vehicle socket.
