Rock Assault Fully Loaded Rear Brake Kit
The mounting kit is designed to go with Trail-Gear’s bearing pockets.
The kit includes:
2 Trail-Gear Brake Hats.
2 Trail-Gear Brake Rotors.
2 Forged Billet Dynalite Brake Calipers.
2 Polymatrix Type E Brake Caliper Pads.
Rock Assault Caliper Mount kit.
The brake hats are made from 6061 T6 aluminum and anodized in Trail-Gear’s signature burnt orange, they are machined for both 5/139.7 and 6/139.7 PCD. Brake hats are specifically designed and manufactured for Rock Crawling and Off-Roading applications. Approx 170mm inside diameter and 51mm deep.
Rotors are 14 inch diameter, 3/8ths inch thick and bolt directly to the brake hat. The rotors are finished with a nitrate surface treatment for corrosion resistance.
Wilwood’s forged dynalite 4-piston brake calipers. are the strongest calipers in the class. Structural deflection and volume displacement tests have proven the forged dynalite outperforms all existing styles of this popular caliper size. Stronger and more reliable due to the forging, the reduced deflection tendencies and resulting decreased fluid volume displacement translate to increased clamping efficiency with less pedal travel. The bottom line is a taller pedal and better stopping power.
