10mm Dyneema Winch Rope. Use quantity to specify meters. 10,900kg breaking load, 9,800kg breaking load at splice. Made from Dyneema SK75 fibres. Dyneema is one of the strongest fibres in the world. The ropes have excellent strength, lightness, UV stability, safety and abrasion resistance properties along with high resistance to tension and bending fatigue. Dyneema ropes are coated with a unique coating that ensures shape stability and increased abrasion resistance for longer working life. Dyneema ropes are heat set under tension to ensure maximum strength, durability and uniformity. Dyneema ropes can sustain 10 million load cycles to 50% of maximum load. Dyneema has only 2% to 3% elongation at breaking load resulting in very little energy and therefore very little backlash. Dyneema is resistant to chemical substances, is not affected by oil, acids or other substances and retains 80% strength after 2 years exposure to UV light. Dyneema has good bending fatigue, but it is recommended that the diameter of any bend be at least 5 times the rope diameter. Special care should be made to ensure that the rope moves over clean smooth surfaces to reduce abrasion.
