Traxion Distributionsays... I purchased my air to air intercooler around 3 weeks ago (early March 2009). I had done a little reading post my purchase so wasn't expecting huge gains upon installing the unit. I admit to being a little surprised when without even installing a bonnet vent I gained another gear when travelling on steep hills. After travelling the same hills for years in 4th and 3rd gear the intercooler install has allowed me to carry 5th gear on virtually all of them. A great addition to the 80 Series which I feel makes it the car it should have always been. Having the install now for a couple of weeks I have added a bonnet scoop and turned up the diesel just a fraction. A vehicle I already liked has now become the vehicle I love to drive and is simply so much more drivable in all scenarios.
